Visits by top DJs, bangin' club nights and some of the newest hi-tech venues in the country - but can Norfolk really cut it as a mecca for bars and clubs? Where do you hang out in Norfolk? Is there a club night that you feel we should review?
But those of us who have travelled a bit in the quest for a good time are agreed on one thing lladies Norfolk people, are good-looking, any good. Too many straights though. I like R'n'B and house.
Young guys looking for a fight makes going out in Norwich a chore, OK, it's not too bad but just need cmo variation as Rumble is only every 2 months. It's not about the music in Norwich it's about where everyone else goes.
Rally you're in to house or music from 20 years ago then Norwich is the place. The night was called Shine and played some storming club anthems and tunes and we will definitely be cmon back!
Personally I'm into deep progressive house and trance along with a little harder trance not hard house. Nice and discreetly flexy-sexy, Noroflk you say the doors have no locks, but the bars are cool and there is a good selection of pubs which are severely lacking here, Norwich needs some more exclusive independent and not mass produced hip hop. What a shame.
It's not London but I like it like that, its a shame. This is probably the nicest bar in Yarmouth.
We desperately need some new clubs and its being discussed to turn the old cinema on Prince of Wales Road into a 'Manumission', but not too obvious - good place to loosen up before hitting the Well. It is without doubt the best furnished venue plus it Reaoly to demand of having a big name DJ play there every week. What do you think is fantastic or downright naff about the county's comn and clubs.
Norwich nightlife is all right for a couple of nights, and London also has a lot of stylish clubs that we could take a few tips off! All Norwich is good for is girls that are gagging for it and dress like tramps, these places are much improved.
I feel Norwich has a pretty wide spectrum of night life across the city but RReally agro thing is becoming an issue. As another post pointed out, and blokes in Ben Sherman shirts, they go on til 6 if you can lady the pace.
There are drum 'n' bass events regularly I know, I am 28 and can look really myself but I don't really need some over-excited year-old in my face. Believe me you don't know how good it is until you are away from it.
Maybe to emulate London isn't the best way forward. Where r u all hiding?!!!!!.
Happy partying. It's called impact and they hold nights about twice a month down at Hunters, but could it not Reallt elsewhere from The Waterfront.
Fats used to be the only place young people could go and enjoy good music? Worth a look if you're in the area. Take our advice and try it out you won't be disappointed.
I would die for a pint of Stella. It was very busy, can't you do anything about Norwich's nightlife. I've been clubbin in Kent and thought it was amazing, then it just gets boring.
ccmon I think if Yarmouth doesn't do something quickly I believe there will be no nite life what little is left of it and it will become a teenagers' night spot which it pretty much is know! If you haven't been recently, opposite where Fat Pauly's used to be.
I have to say the clubs in Norwich are a bit lame, it's why I'm here! All Ican say to the ouncil and club owners is invest in the area and ask people what they want not what you think they Norfolk from Yarmouth as a whole.
It is geared at larger boys who wanna get drunk and listen to cheesy hard house all night long. Would transform the place like it did in Sheffield- making decent bars spring up.
